Rock Tech Lithium
Enabling the Battery Age

Rock Tech Lithium is a German-Canadian critical minerals company developing the next-generation of lithium converters to supply Europe and North America with sustainably and locally-produced battery-grade lithium. In the medium term, we aim to close the regional battery cycle by processing recovered lithium from recycled end-of-life batteries.

Energy Starts at the Element
Global demand for battery-grade lithium is accelerating and transforming the future of energy and technology. As the world electrifies transportation, modernizes heating systems, and expands digital infrastructure, the need for high-performance batteries continues to surge.
At Rock Tech, we are focused on delivering lithium supply through responsible development, technical excellence, and transparent processes.
Lithium is the foundation to this digital society; enabling clean-energy systems that power homes and business, supporting the growth of artifical intelligence and data centres, and underpinning the technologies that keep the world connect. The momentum is reshaping supply chains across the globe.

Where Raw Material Becomes the Future
Rock Tech is moving forward with its first lithium converter in Guben, Brandenburg; positioned at the heart of Europe’s emerging battery corridor. The Guben converter will transform lithium-bearing ore into battery-grade lithium hydroxide, a key ingredient for Europe’s fast-growing battery industry. With regulatory approval for construction and operation, the project is set to move ahead.
As a recognized Strategic Project under the EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act, our Guben Converter strengthens Europe’s drive for resilient, local battery material supply chains.

From Proven Experience to a Made-in-Ontario Lithium Supply Chain
Building on the technical foundation established by our Guben Converter in Germany, Rock Tech is advancing a domestic lithium supply chain to support the North American battery industry. At the centre of this strategy is the Red Rock Converter, supported by the nearby Georgia Lake Mining Project.
As the focal point of our Canadian vision, the Red Rock Converter will apply the technical expertise and process knowledge from Guben to create a Canadian-based source of battery-grade lithium. Located within Ontario’s critical minerals corridor, the Red Rock Converter benefits from established industrial infrastructure, efficient transportation links, and access to clean, reliable power. Its position provides a direct connection to Ontario’s EV and battery ecosystem while supporting sustainable processing.
The Georgia Lake Mining Project plays a supporting role in this strategy, providing a stable source of spodumene (lithium-bearing) ore for the Red Rock Converter, located less than 60 km to the south. With a long history of exploration and a well-defined geological profile, Georgia Lake will contribute upstream certainty. Its proximity to the Red Rock converter strengthens the regional supply chain and reinforces Ontario’s critical minerals corridor as a competitive hub for lithium processing.
